Again, you are in no position to express opinions about subjects you have no experience or education on.

You asked for opinions on drugs and that is what he gave you. Get off your high horse.

I guess I worded it wrong then.

I meant for people not to voice their opinions (of often highly offensive character) without having a proper supporting background, which is quite a reasonable request. It even says so in the original post.

If your 'background' for your beliefs is a bunch of light-hearted assumptions, then frankly, I cannot take you serious.
And to everyone:

I am awful when it comes to debating. I get overly defensive, and occasionally end up saying things that don't benefit the general discussion. For this, I apologize. It does not justify my behavior that this is a very sensitive topic for me.

This is meant to be a chilled conversation for chilled people, and I will attempt my best to come off as such.

Again, I mean no ill intent, and I realize I might look like a douchebag in all this.
I do love a flame war.
If they chose to do the shit, they accepted what comes from that.  I can't feel sorry for someone who has addiction issues to shit they chose to take.

do you feel the same way about people who get ptsd from being in the military? curious because i know you have that background. would you say that you don't feel bad for people with ptsd because they knew what they were getting into? or if someone became paralyzed because of a motorcycle accident that was their fault? obviously they knew what they were getting into, but that doesnt mean you can't sympathize. imo, the person doesn't have to be "in the right" to feel sorry for them. you might not feel like these are equal comparisons, but i would disagree. not only that, but a lot of drug addiction comes from legitimate medical issues where they were prescribed these drugs, and started their addiction that way.
I personally never really used any types of drugs so I can't really fully see anyone who uses drug's perspective,

but from what I studied, I can tell that most people use drugs as an escape from their reality or problems, they wish to take a time off from stress and worry so they use drugs.

when it comes to teenagers it mostly has to do family related issues which results in them using drugs, I am probably explaining this ina really bad way considering I just woke up but you get the idea.
Fuck it, as long as it doesn't affect your day to day life then whatever. I've had worse experiences while drinking alcohol than while on Class A or B drugs.

Doing drugs is nothing to be proud of, you should do it for the feeling, not the attention...
