No one in their right mind can possibly tell me there's 'alternative' interpretations to that. Islam is not a peaceful religion. Christianity and Judaism are also not peaceful religions, any religion that mentions Abraham is not peaceful, but no means on the same degree as Islam. No country should be governed by any religion. Islam being the most hostile religion is, by pure logic the first one to target especially when we consider the amount of bombings related to Islam.

Iran may have a lower rating but they're still holding people illegally as I said in my original post. And if other countries want to do it sure they can, but as an American I can happily say I'd rather be here than anywhere else so I wouldn't mind NOT going to other countries.
The Refugees should be helped, of course they should. But we're not the only country in the world capable of helping them, they can get it somewhere else. Half of the countries listed are unstable, or even in some form of civil war. And in theory yes a ban could work. If you have bad people coming from a location, then you stop having people come from that location you no longer have the bad people coming.
Based on the morality of the situation you can say it's wrong. Some people say he's banning Muslims, but to me he's keeping people from troubled regions out of our country. He got voted president for this reason, the people want America to come first.
More important just so you know the chosen countries came from information from the Obama legislation. It's not all Trump.
In my opinion I've always found it frustrating that the world seems perfectly fine to use our resources, and our hard work for their own profit. And when we finally do something for our own good its the end of the world. We're not taking in refugees, and as I said before I'm glad we're not.
Iran may hold people illegally, but one can argue that so does the US in Guantanamo Bay. I agree we're not the only country that should be helping, it should be a world effort to attempt to place these displaced people into more suitable lives instead of the constant threat of death. I can also agree that there is always more that can be done in regards to vetting the people coming into the US, but straight up bans just negate innocent women and children from escaping. I also agree that America should be put first, we shouldn't be the world police and intermingle ourselves with every other country however this is a humanitarian issue. We can accomplish having "America first" while still helping people from other countries.

Really? Even if that is true, that it's not a majority, according to the Qur'an they are bad Muslims for not doing that.
