Nice to hear that everthing its going well , Good Luck Tô you man and to tour strong and Brave Child , keep ya head up
Update:

Yesterday was a no go on chest tube removal, however he was allowed to bed out of his bed for the first time.

Today has been very good so far. His pacemaker backup wires were removed as well as his three chest tubes. And he was happy. This gives him much more mobility.  All that remains is his neckline and oxygen.  And he should now be able to leave the room and play in the playroom once he builds some strength.

Despite all that has been going on, he's been in a good mood, been nonfussy and working with everyone. As such he was given a special bead.

Once again hes very strong and I hope he makes a full recovery!
Thats a nice bead man! hope he cherishes it, he's certainly courageous and so are you man! you're a great dad Big Grin
Update:

Looking good. So the little guy has lost his oxygen and some more lines. He still has the IV line in his neck for blood draws, easier and more painless than jabbing him every hour.

We are working on exercise. Walking around the room and going to the playroom. He's still weak but getting better, high spirits, he's been happy, playing and eating, even flirting with the nurses.

We should have been downgraded to Intermediate Saturday, however there is no space available, as soon as this happens we will move to a new room, meaning both my wife and I can sleep in the room.

If all moves like it should, we are looking at being released Thursday or Friday.

We are looking good.
About the bead. Here we get beads, each color and design means a certain thing. One for everyday, for each surgery, eko, xray, med, etc. The Courage one is a rare one. They don't just give those out. When we get home I'll see if I can get a shot of all the beads he has earned so far. After this trip it'll be three bags.
Good job Big Grin

I'm now questioning how you would even stir the contents of a breast.

OT: Hope your little guy pulls through man.
