Neutral.
It barely has any affect on anything or anyone either way.
Harmless minor option.
I doubt the option would get used all that often seeing as people probably rather show off they got a bit of cash on them IRL that they can spend.

But instead of saying "x bought moneypacks/donator" have it say "x donated x$ to the community"
I could get behind this, to be honest.

No. why you ask?
For the Same reason the amounts aren't shown on the top donators section of the UCP.

Removes awareness of players becoming more charitable towards the community. Can show others tha donating may be a good idea.
Some people may want to keep it private that they donated for money packs or whatever they wanted. And I can't think of any reason as to why not , they should be able to decide if their name wanna show up or not
eh, -support
It's a useful tool when people are selling donator status for others, as they can then see quickly that their transaction went through and the buyer can't claim that it didn't go through wasting everyones time.

Each their own on the bolded line honestly.
Doesn't bother me not having that feature, just as it wouldn't bother me having it.
Back on topic.
Neutral. Not a massive change but understandable if some people want to keep it private.
Just remember that it's now a membership and not a donation.

Sorry meant to quote just Octave.
Alright.
Money and how we spend them is first of all a question of privacy. Nobody wants to brag about being broke, and nobody wants to listen to anyone bragging about being rich - we can't change this fact, and we have to respect others and their intimacy around the subject.
I can name a number of reasons why this feature should be implemented, but it definitely says "privacy" in the top three.
EDIT: Please refrain from addressing me as Octave, i have no idea why i would change it.

Mainly what Sour's said which describes it.

No reason not to.
+support. Whilst I understand that we want people to donate, perhaps have it hide the player's name and say that "A player bought xyz" rather than "<Name> bought ..."

I don't really see any true benefit with this. Sure, players may not want to spam the screens when they receive a donator status or Moneypack however, I believe this shouldn't be done as it motivates other players to try to be like their friends and support the community with funds to keep it running. (Not that it doesn't get enough) Membership status is also another way to symbolize loyalty towards the server as you are spending real funds to keep what you enjoy alive.
I don't know if I addressed this. But the idea isn't to stop spam. Its the privacy of the member that donated.
Some players simply don't want their name to be shown as a donator and I think that privacy should be respected.
