They fail, sure but that is because we try new things. Minecraft failed because it had no development with staff having no idea how to run a minecraft server.

I think atm the only dev working on it has soley developed the Minecraft Server.
What I don't understand is.

Limelight is company
Limelight has money
Limelight can LEGALLY hire devs
Limelight can SUE devs if they were ever to breach contract
Limelight isn't hiring devs
??????

Although for the first few months US Rockford had dev support. That was the only successful time.

I can see why George has said what he has said because the only way we will succeed is by failing a few times. That's how we learn. How are we suppose to move forward if we are being criticized for trying new things? This thread is hugely productive and negative comments such as "this will never work" won't be accounted for.

How do you think we are supposed to grow? Haven't any of you considered our GMOD community base has peaked? So what's the next thing we do? Explore new game communities, how are we supposed to get players if we aren't reaching out to them.

As I stated before, although I am only a member of Limelight, I will happily help out with setting up the server since I have had to run a server several time before in the past. Same goes with building, Blackout wanted to build something but had no time to make it. I offered and he denied.

Give some player a chance and may get more out of the server.

Tbh I just want a working server that has a lovely looking spawn and not a system that nobody knows how to use apart from one developer.

Back when we were on another community I believe that we have been in a situation where we allowed other players to help with things.. Long story short it didn't end well and there's a reason why staff keep it staff.

Though for me I see no point in expanding, it's not worth the resources, at least not yet.
I don't see how the mine craft server can expand or grow...As far as I can tell it's not being advertised. All it's doing is catering for minecraft players within limelight.
