  The year is 2037, the world is on the brink of nuclear war. With oil reserves low, and crime rates at an all time high, anarchy can be seen on the horizon as well as the undeniable fate of atomic annihilation. Alaska has been annexed by Russia while nuclear tests have ravaged the south west, eventually forcing southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico to become a barren wasteland plagued with radiation. The only safe havens are the northwestern territories of British Columbia and Alberta which the United States had bought off of Canada before Russia and China had invaded it, as well as some states on the east coast. Washington D.C. is in a state of turmoil and emergency, along with New York City, Baltimore, Boston, and Charleston. Fortunately, you were born in a primitive mountain town called Brunswick in upstate New York where peace and tranquility dominated instead of anarchy and insurrection. While having a clean supply of water from the Brunswick River and a nuclear bunker nearly able to fit the entire town's population inside, Brunswick is one of the safest locations in the United States.

  It is your duty to survive if something undoubtably would happen. Otherwise it is your job to live out your daily lives regularly, dismissing the troubling crises in the United States. Unbeknownst to you, a United Nations conference is being held in the nuclear bunker as its location is currently anonymous to the public. The basis of the meeting is to find, by any means, the possibility of avoiding all out nuclear war. China has mobilized its missile arsenal and has deployed destroyers armed with nuclear warheads to its recently annexed territory, the Caribbean. There is one Chinese delegate at the conference, sent to negotiate and find a way to passively resolve the situation, although that might not be case... The meeting is being held as an emergency precaution. The citizens will be alerted as a last resort if something were to happen, and will be granted access to seperate underground safe houses dependent on their specific location.
