Re: Rugby World Cup [Up-to date] - Brennan - Sep 18, 2015
Ref against England wasn't the best, questionable whether Burgess was held for the leadup for the 3rd try and May jumped into a tackle last phase before try on the fourth.
Favourite Teams:
Wales
Whoever is playing England

Eh, I was happy with the try, yet supporting England. Yes, maybe the ref was a bit bias but England would have won against Fiji anyway.
But, everyone in my household was VERY happy with the 81[sup]st[/sup] minute try (I think it was that minute. Not 100%).

Wasn't bias just poor calls and generally a disappointment from World Rugby's referees, at the start of the season we were promised in every league and age group harsher decisions on matters like this.
Jumping into a tackle would come under 10.4 (K) and has always been penalized
And the held law as 15.2
However linking into the promises made earlier, scrum feeding, obstruction and crossing, tackling, breakdown and scrummaging was a highlighted area for referees to improve upon, I expected a lot better than the display today. However this will most likely be improved upon.
Also the reason it matters is due to England receiving a 'bonus point' for scoring their fourth try.
