Remove Scrolling Text Option - Jono - Aug 31, 2015
Suggestion for <in-game/forum/teamspeak etc.> Remove the 'Marquee' option from forum posts.
In detail, explain your suggestion: Self explanatory.
Why should this be implemented?

I would rather we make a forum rule regarding this.
The option is good for adverts and such; it does have uses.
However I do agree it's been incorrectly used, such as writing "Yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hi" and taking 15+ seconds to reach the end.
Proper use (In this instance, it would be an IG event thread which may be sponsored) [

I'd have no problem with that at all. Basically this idea was to mitigate the amount of annoying, almost spam like posts such as
[move]+SUPPORT[/move]
Or
[move]HI[/move]
which seem to be in any thread.
The option itself, as you highlighted, does have benefits, but I've not seen it used properly once in the month LL has been up.
