Questions about getting a driving license (UK) - Jericho - Sep 15, 2015

Ok, sorry if im turning this into studentroom.

But basically, I've recently applied for a driving license and I will be taking the theory test in a near time. I have no revision books,CD's whatsoever and I don't know where to begin. So here are my questions to those whom already have a driving license or to those whom are also applying for one.

(This is really dumb but i still want to be sure) Does driving tests have specific exam boards?

Where can I purchase revision books/CD's for the test?

How do I know which one i need?

How difficult will the test be? (Do i have to spend alot of time revising for it?)

RE Theory test: It's easy, but has some random as fuck questions. To combat this, do lots of mock tests, 15 at least. Once you pass them easily, say 5 in a row, you're ready.

You can puchase the DVLA book here. I'd reccommend reading it, has good advice which you'll need for your practical anyway.

No they don't have a specific exam board, don't worry.

Driving tests are straightforward and there's nothing to worry about; it's just a way to collect tax revenue. Driving is designed to be simple, for simpletons.
