Welcome Cadet. This is your first day in the training grounds of E.S.A.

Today, you'll learn what it takes to become an Astronaut or an E.S.A scientist.

You will need to pass an interview and then the E.S.A. test (Space knowledge, discipline, decision making etc)

Then, special physical and psychological training will ensue making sure you're capable of exploring the space.

If you pass, prepare to board the I.E.S. [International Evo Station], there, you will conduct experiments, work in sattelites and maybe someday colonize another planet. *

There are 3 different positions as an Astronaut. Each with different duties and responsibilities.

• Commander of the Mission
  
• Flight Engineer
  
• Scientist
  

So... You're afraid of heights but you still want to work in E.S.A.

On-Earth operatives and scientists are necessary for E.S.A. to operate.

You'll need to pass the E.S.A. test as a Scientist or a Mission Specialist

• If you pass the test as a Scientist, you'll work in a special laboratory and work with gravity, physics and new uses for materials*²
  
• If you pass the test as a Mission Specialist, you'll operate in the mission control room, communicating with the astronauts and making sure everything is going according the mission plan. Your work will be difficult and you'll need to make tough decisions that may put Astronauts' life in danger or... get them out of danger.
