RP Event | EC:PD DispatchRP - CMR99 - Aug 18, 2015 ![]() [glow=blue,1,300][size=24pt]EC D - DispatchRP[/size][/glow][Event:] An RP Event regarding the EC D, in which the PD force would be organized and RP'd realistically and effectively, simply put. You would have designated Officers, Patrol Units, and so on and so forth. The main reason for this event being proposed is because of a distinct lack of communication from some officers of the law. This can be extremely infuriating, and it makes the EC D poorly organized in general. To counteract this, for the event you will have to apply for each role, and have some form of communication (either through use of in-game radio, or TS)[Information:] Server: V33X Time: Undecided (Going on holiday for a week, so any suggestions are welcome) [Requirements:] -Experience with the role of an EC D Officer/Some form of law enforcement.-Knowledge of Police Scanner codes (Basic ones, like 10-4, 10-20, 10-8. You do not need to know the entire handbook. I will put a summary of the simple ones at the bottom of this post.) -Common sense. As in, don't shoot at a speeding vehicle. -Ability to communicate in some way. Either using the In-Game radio chat, or using TeamSpeak. -Ability to RP effectively in a variety of situations (IE don't rush in like mad with no plan during a hostage situation) -Ability to understand the chain of command (Failure to do so will result in demotion) [Roles:] As an EC D Official, your main duties are law enforcement. However, there are many roles within any law enforcement branch, and the EC D is no different.[glow=blue,1,300][EC D Dispatcher][/glow]The Dispatcher is responsible for Officer assignment. While at the scene of a crime, the highest ranking officer takes command, the Dispatcher makes sure they get to that scene. Prioritizing calls depending on which are more important or not, they will decide how many Officers are required to respond. [INT:HA] CMR99 [1/1] [glow=red,1,300]APPLICATIONS CLOSED[/glow] [glow=blue,1,300][EC D - Police Superintendant][/glow]Commander of the EC D Force, the Superintendant has the power to order Officers about. He/she requests Dispatch to assign specific units to specific tasks, as well as being able to take command during raids and operations. While Dispatch can over-ride the Superintendant, this only applies to Priority Codes below Level 2. IE: If there is a jailbreak going on, and the Superintendant orders officers to assist with a speeder, Dispatch can over-rule this and request backup. Regardless, the Superintendant is one of the highest ranking in the EC D.Doodleh [STEAM_0:1:16781762] [1/1] [glow=red,1,300]APPLICATIONS CLOSED[/glow] [glow=blue,1,300][EC D - Patrol Officer][/glow]These Officers of the EC D Patrol either on foot, or in an EC D Cruiser. Their main job is to look out for suspicious activity, as well as respond to Dispatch assignments if nearby. These Officers might have a rookie with them in the side of their car/walking beside them, in order to show them the ropes. When they find a crime scene, they will most likely cordon the area off, then radio for additional units as necessary (IE: EMS Officers, Fire teams, Detectives, etc etc)[L²:RP]Mr.UnionSniper#Mafia3 [STEAM_0:1:35216760] Ping-Hotel [STEAM_0:0:57638915] [L²:RP] Ranger [STEAM_0:0:49875694] waj the cheeky munter [STEAM_0:0:40819487] [4/4] [glow=red,1,300]APPLICATIONS CLOSED[/glow] [glow=blue,1,300][EC D - Detective][/glow]EC D Detectives usually patrol in their cruisers, like Patrol Officers, unless requested. When a Detective is called, they will inspect the crime scene, looking for clues, piecing together the events that happened before the crime, taking witness statements and such. They would then find a likely suspect, issue a warrant, and upload images of the wanted person to the EC D Database (if they are not on scene)[L²] War [STEAM_0:1:49758344] [1/1] [glow=red,1,300]APPLICATIONS CLOSED[/glow] [glow=blue,1,300][EC D - Sergeant][/glow]While the Sergeant Patrols, much like other EC D Officers, they are usually assigned by the Dispatcher to take command at a specific raid/EC D Operation. Their higher rank gives them authority over other officers, meaning they can order lower ranking officers about. However, Dispatch can over-rule this, as can the EC D Superintendant.Mr Doc [STEAM_0:1:61661230] [1/1] [glow=red,1,300]APPLICATIONS CLOSED[/glow] [glow=blue,1,300][EC D - Community Support Officers][/glow]The EC D Community Support Officers mainly deal with public affairs. They issue statements to the citizens, as well as being dispatched to small petty crimes and issues, such as Domestic Abuse, burglaries, and so on and so forth. They tend to arrive at the scene, take statements, then relay them to Detectives and/or Superior Officers. While their role is minor, it has a major impact on how the city views the force: A rude Community Support Officer implies the entire PD is generally bad mannered.Judge Rage [STEAM_0:1:59572596] Lalipar [STEAM_0:1:40688431] [2/2] [glow=red,1,300]APPLICATIONS CLOSED[/glow] [glow=blue,1,300][EC D - Cadets][/glow]Cadets tend to be unarmed PD Officials, however some may be issued a sidearm. These Officers do not have all the powers of a fully fledged officer, and tend to ride along with other officers as a trainee, observing how they do their role. They may assist with arrests, and raids, but tend to be under-equipped and unprepared. No Applicants [0/X] [glow=green,1,300]APPLICATIONS OPEN[/glow] [glow=blue,1,300][FDEC- EMS Officer][/glow] While not technically a part of the EC D, EMS Officers still take direct orders from the EC D Dispatcher. As a result, they cannot respond to calls without Dispatch Confirmation. When dispatched to a situation, EMS Officers will attempt to resuscitate/assist whoever requested them. This can range from simple things like unconscious people injured in road accidents, to bullet wounds SWAT Officers have endured after a situation.[L²:RP] Lord Octagon [STEAM_0:0:65579019] CounterCraftz [STEAM_0:0:8599803] [2/3] [glow=green,1,300]APPLICATIONS OPEN[/glow] [glow=blue,1,300][FDEC - Firefighter Unit][/glow] Like the EMS Officers, Firefighter units respond only with Dispatch confirmation, while not technically being a part of the EC D. When dispatched to a situation, Firefighters attempt to put out any blaze in the area, breaking down doors if need be in order to get citizens out of harm's way. Firemen and women will also then request dispatch to call in EMS support, if need be. (IE: Fireman rescues an injured woman from a burning car, and so requests EMS to heal her wounds.)No Applicants [0/3] [glow=green,1,300]APPLICATIONS OPEN[/glow] [glow=blue,1,300][EC D - S.W.A.T. Commander][/glow]When citizens need help, they call the EC D Officers. When Officers need help, they call the Special Weapons and Tactics team. The S.W.A.T. Commander, leader of his Squad of S.W.A.T. Officers, is responsible for his squad. He will organize drills, training, as well as take command in any operation S.W.A.T. responds to, with Dispatch confirmation. Contrary to popular belief, S.W.A.T. are not political babysitters, and the commander is second only to the EC D Dispatch.[L²:RP] BasicallyMental [STEAM_0:1:94870333] [1/1] [glow=red,1,300]APPLICATIONS CLOSED[/glow] [glow=blue,1,300][EC D - S.W.A.T. Officer][/glow]S.W.A.T. Officers, unlike standard EC D Officials, are clad in heavy body armour, and armed with Assault Rifles. These Officers must respond to their Commander's orders, and his alone. Unless Dispatch states otherwise, EC D Officers other than those in the S.W.A.T. Division cannot order them about. They rarely respond to calls, only being dispatched in extremely serious situations (IE: Bank Robbery, Jailbreaks, heavily armed criminals, cop killers)MrBigSneeze [STEAM_0:1:43202742] The Bathroom of Oscar Pistorius[STEAM_0:1:39855121] Space Glitch[STEAM_0:0:80111414] [3/4] [glow=green,1,300]APPLICATIONS OPEN[/glow] [Application Form:] [EC D Scanner Code Summary/Guide (MUST READ)]Re: RP Event | EC:PD DispatchRP - BasicallyMental - Aug 18, 2015 OOC Steam Name: [L²:RP] BasicallyMental SteamID: STEAM_0:1:94870333 Hour Count: 90 Role you wish to apply for: EC D SWAT CommanderAre you able to communicate with a team effectively?
