Amazon, help! - Evanswachtz - Aug 8, 2015

I ordered a Electrical Two Wheeled Scooter/Segway today, and recieved the following mail, even though I have talked to my bank and have the money:

-- Your name, phone number, and the email address registered to your Amazon.com account

You can find our fax number on the Amazon.com Help page:

We will convert your fax to a secure electronic image. To protect your information, we restrict access to your payment information to a team of account specialists.

Our Customer Service team can confirm that we sent this email, but they cannot view your fax or share more information about this matter.

You can expect a response from us within 24 hours of sending your fax.

Scaaaaaam

Re: Amazon, help! - bismo - Aug 8, 2015

As long as it actually links to Amazon's site, then it's not a scam. I would call them though, just to confirm that everything is legit just in case.

Re: Amazon, help! - Echo - Aug 8, 2015

I suggest calling them to make sure it is all legit and not a scam.

I encounter a lot of companies at my work who still use a darn fax machine. It is flabberghasting.
