Rocks to Riches (Mining and Gathering Update) - Bambo - Jan 27, 2025

Today we bring you something new, so put on your hardhats and follow us as we guide you through what has been added!
Pickaxes
There has been two new pickaxes been added In-Game,
The Old Pickaxe can be bought from the F1 Menu via:
F1 Menu > Market > Misc > Old Pickaxe
The Hardwood Pickaxe can be crafted from a schematic and a few materials.
You'll be able to equip this once you reach Level 10 in MESKA Mining Skill.
The more you mine the higher your Mining Skill will go!
Gaining more XP and drop rate as you progress.
There are several mining nodes populated in two areas of the map, which you can find.
These nodes are at Little Village and Industrial, opposite the shops.
These nodes will have a randomised health quantity between 1000-2000,
These will respawn in time after being broken.
You can sell rocks and coal to Dwayne located near the Lumberjack.
Smelting
A new production system has been added, Starting from MESKA Mining Skill Level 2,
Drop in the Coal and Iron Ores that you have mined around the map into the Smelter
F1 Menu > Market > Crafting & Production > Smeltery
Drop the coal and the metal onto the smeltery.
Press E, stand back and watch your metal smelt into metal for your crafting needs.
You can then use the new sorting schematic / mixture to sort through the metal.
These give several types of items, which you can use with our new updated recipes.
We also improved upon our schematics!

We have also added a 15% chance to get metal from destroyed contraband.

Dumpster Diving
Rubbish bins have been placed around the map which can be interacted to gain a new material, plastic...
This material will have additional uses in future updates but for the time being you can sell
this to Jerry the Trashman located across the Lumberjack.
However, be aware that these bins aren't filled too regularly and you may be unlucky enough to
find nothing... or wish you found nothing or some not so useful food, unless you are planning to bring it to your neighbours dinner party
Press E to interact with Bins
NPCs
2 New NPCs have been added to the map to allow players to sell gathered items for cash,
The UI for all NPCs have been improved to allow ease of use.
JERRY THE TRASHMAN
Jerry will buy your plastic and rotten food!
DWAYNE LEROCHER
Dwayne will buy your Rocks and Coal!
