Radio for music. - OfficialFriet - Jan 13, 2025 Explain your suggestion, in detail: Add the option to play music from links like Youtube or Spotify on the radio. Explain why the suggestion should be implemented: Due to the radio not working now with the radio station being abbandoned, It would be nice to play music some way or another that isn't through your microphone (trash quality). This could highly enhance roleplay scenarios, like the other day there was a restaurant with a player playing jazz music to create an atmosphere, due to the Garry's mod voice chat the music would stutter and just sound awfull, adding a option to play music from the radio might fix this. RE: Radio for music. - Limelight Gaming - Jan 13, 2025 Thank you for your suggestion, OfficialFriet! It will take a while for it to be reviewed by our staff-members. Meanwhile, expect some nice feedback from our community. RE: Radio for music. - Vadar - Jan 14, 2025 Unfortunately as part of Youtube's TOS you cannot stream a video without it being present on screen at a certain size at all times. TVs were also removed due to lag related issues and GMOD support for Youtube (Which may be back in x64 mode?) The only way i can see around this is to have a private player hosted on Limelight with Copyright free music which is rather limited. RE: Radio for music. - Montyfatcat - Jan 14, 2025 Didn't we have a patchwork solution in the form of using truckersfm for a while? Could do that instead RE: Radio for music. - Markus - Jan 21, 2025 (Jan 14, 2025, 12:31 AM)Vadar Wrote: Unfortunately as part of Youtube's TOS you cannot stream a video without it being present on screen at a certain size at all times. What about online radios? This might work but only if they're whitelisted due to security concerns |
