Explain your suggestion, in detail:
Add a cooking time to the oven when it is cooking.
Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:
It would be nice to get a general timer so I don't have to estimate when the oven is done and I don't have to guess by watching the cooking time.

I'm not going to lie to you, I think not knowing the time left makes it more immersive, like you need to check when its ready, which kinda gives it a semi-realistic touch.
This also allows for a new update where food can spoil when overcooked.
Adding a visible timer would take away the "thrill" of carefully cooking the food.

Honestly, I quite like that idea.
I think combined with sound would be a better side to it. I guess it just feels dull at the moment because you're just waiting for food to 'finish' and not entirely focused on it. It'd be funny to see fires start from people not watching what they are cooking too.
