Pretty sure it is intentional. I am not sure if the system auto equips it though.

I meant the default camera, it shouldn't be dropping. It doesn't really affect anything though. You can pick it up but it doesn't go into your inventory because it is probably not a valid inventory item. Might be causing errors server side though.

It is a valid inventory item - you can buy it on the market now. (9172 and 9171).
Are you 100% certain it's not going in your inventory when you pick it up? It's in the misc category.
There's no forum link associated with the revisions so I don't believe it was a user suggestion.
I do agree that it either should not auto-equip or it should not drop

OK - tested with Joley to make sure everything's good and it is just the camera item which is intentional.
I do think the fact that the item auto-equips could be problematic and we already have some precedence for passive items not dropping on death (life alert) so I will bring it up with the team
