Replace G2 Contender - Welker - Nov 19, 2018
Explain your suggestion, in detail Replace the G2 Contender with Karabiner 98k
Explain why the suggestion should be implemented:
* It's never used and it's an overall weird gun addition in the first place

* More of a civilian weapon* Very close content size (G2 is under 5mb, the 98k is a little above 5)

G2's barely used so this might spark up some more usage of the weapon. Also the Kar is something civilians would be easily able to possess. I don't see a reason not to have a different gun in-game when the gun suggested to be replaced is never used anyways.

My question is what role would the kar98 fulfill, would it not be the same as the contender which would mean it will remain as unused?

It wouldn't be a single shot (Or 'oneshott' ha) piece of garbage. A rifle that could be used by civilians would be a decent addition, it wouldn't be as powerful as an AWM to be sure, but of course it'd have a bit of power. I suppose it's comparable to the Serbu Super-Shorty & benelli shotgun.
It might not be used as much as other guns, but its sure as hell gonna be better than the G2 and this is at absolutely no loss. It's really a no loss situation

The super shorty situation is a matter of weaker concealed shotgun vs more powerful non concealed. Definitely different roles. The contender is not used mostly because it just loses against all the other snipers. So what would make the Kar98 different enough to see it used. Im not against the change, just trying to see if either another option is better, or if the kar98 has something that I am missing.

Its not officially a CW addon but seems it's based off CW code. I could have sworn it was CW when i posted it but if it's going to cause issues I'm sure theres a similar addon that could be found

Essentially this. A more affordable and slightly weaker version of an AWM. Once crafting is out it'd be great if this was easy to make while AWM was difficult.

Pretty sure its FA:L addon, judging by the hand textures, and the developer himself only mentions he used the scope texture from CW, this addon dosent posses the ability to put your gun on safety mode nor add any modifications, a better addon should be found for this
