So yeah, what was the deal with Maniac? I joined when he still was a dev, but wasn't active at all and I have no clue, did he abuse or what happened to him? He got banned but why? What's the deal?

Maniac was never a dev, he was a moderator.

I can't quite remember why he was banned but I believe he caused further problems on the forums after his demotion.
