Nationalist revolutions sweep across Europe, with calls for representation, freedom of press and abandonment of multicultural empires echo through the streets from Paris to Vienna. With the Russian Revolution in sight, Communist ideology begins to grow in popularity. Conservative ideologies split between independence and autonomy. The overarching theme is emergence of national identity across the world and the march towards liberalism.

After a crushing defeat, the nations that participated in the many warring periods of the early 1900s now dissipate into a class divide between nationalists, democratic reformers and communists. During this period all nations of the world attempt to stabilize themselves in these

The world has been plunged into constant threat of nuclear devastation. The advent of the Cold War brings a major spike in political difficulty, as the demand for public services effectively doubles in comparison to the previous era, new research has been uncovered and many policies of the previous era become ineffective. The choice is now between major cost cutting or tax reforms to maintain liquidity.

The collapse of the dual world order and move towards multilateralism are accompanied by groundbreaking advances in technology and social changes that upend the traditional values cherished by many. The divide between the young, the old, the haves and have nots, all come to a head in the modern age. Public services at at the most demanding in this era, the ways to meet these demands have increased yet at additional costs. The age to shape the future has arrived.
