Due to the website block, many websites are not supported in images. Imgur is available how it doesn't seem to work with GIF images.
To use GIF images upload your image to www.giphy.com
To add the GIF image, simply do the same process of using the IMG tags or what is found in the tool bar on top as labelled "Insert Image".

Alright, the reason it doesn't work is you are probably copying the URL, normally that would work but with giphy you have to do more.
Go down, you'll see 2 options, share and download, press download and you'll see links popup.
The one you need here is the one called GIF Download.
