RE: Donald Trump - Person of the year - Mr.Ranger - Dec 8, 2016 People forget that Times Person of The Year doesn't mean that he is the best person, it means that he is the person who had the most impact on the media and the world. RE: Donald Trump - Person of the year - WildDorito - Dec 9, 2016 Although Trump will ruin every relation that the US has, Trump is a businessman, and businessmen make money, Which means Trump will get the US out of debt, which is a good thing about him. Six of his businesses have declared bankruptcy. 3. The US will never get out of debt. It doesn't need to as long it continues to pay the interest on the money it owes yearly. So unless Trump can propose a budget with a surplus of at least $4,875,000,000,000 per year there's no way he nor any other president for quite some time that could fully get the US in the black again. It'll be a much more lengthy process than that. RE: Donald Trump - Person of the year - Sleepy Knight - Dec 10, 2016 5-6 years ago, everyone hated trump because of his high-class status; Trump says some things that are considered islamophobic, xenophobic, homophobic and racist, everyone loves him. Oh the joy of the 21st century. If you think there is a difference between Politics and Business, you have already lost an argument. 2. Many businesses have declared bankruptcy and Chapter 11 bankruptcy is simply a reorganization of the company. Make sure you know the difference between Chapter 7 and 11, because the companies you saw on your Liberal News site might have left out the fact that these companies were not dissolved, but rather modified. Companies such as General Motors, Chrysler, Marvel Studios and hundreds of major retailers have used Chapter 11 to reorganize their companies when they are simply overcome with too much debt. Experts say this debt was a result of revenue loss from a decline in gambling at the time. 3. Pure speculation RE: Donald Trump - Person of the year - jarz - Dec 10, 2016 (Dec 10, 2016, 12:02 AM)George Wrote:(Dec 9, 2016, 01:19 PM)WildDorito Wrote: Although Trump will ruin every relation that the US has, But everybody invests in us like a company. Your third point proves it. Thus, someone who is vastly knowledgeable in the subject would be great as our leader. But how many businesses does he own? (515 if you were unaware.) That is, 99% of all of his businesses have not declared bankruptcies, and 98% of them have been extremely successful. Seems pretty impressive. You're right here.
