A Medical UI - alan245 - Oct 24, 2016 Suggestion for <in-game/forum/teamspeak etc.>IG in detail, explain your suggestion:Making a UI that similar to the UI made for the mechanic Which having these detailed. >Head< >Oxygen mask< >Bandage< >Body< >CPR< >AED< >Bandage< >Left Hand/Right Hand< >Bandage< >Inject Pain Killer< >Inject Morphine< >Left Leg/Right Leg< >Bandage< It looks like a UI that combind the Command and the Mechanic UI Why should this be implemented? This could make the job of paramedic more fun and chalenging because they have to decide which medical treatment they will needed, and making paramedic a job that having a lot of stress in order to left them feel what they should feels IRL. Additional to Developer:This is only my idea and i have no idea can this worked out or not,if can't just leave this suggestion because i have no idea about codding so :/ RE: A Medical UI - Markus - Oct 24, 2016 As long as every medic gets a test/tutorial. From my Arma 3 clan experiences, learning the usage of medicaments as well as diagnosing can be quite difficult, especially for players new to CityRP. If the above are met, +Support (PS: In Arma 3 we use ACE.) OT: +Support, perhaps some dialogue to assist players, or perhaps giving the a copy of The Book. It might help RP, say giving players a chance to assist (though not revive) players in a critical state. Might enhance RP. RE: A Medical UI - Dick - Nov 10, 2016 Massive +Support This feature is used in Clockwork: Half-Life 2 RP and I find it a great and rather immersive feature. RE: A Medical UI - Night - Nov 10, 2016 I definitely feel that there's room for more proper medical RP's and this would really help with that. As long as you know what your talking about (somewhat, at least) you'll do fine. The test however may be a little excessive. +support for the general suggestion though. RE: A Medical UI - ForceGhost - Nov 10, 2016 +Support. RE: A Medical UI - Vfib - Nov 16, 2016 +SUPPORT. Can I have my defib paddles back? RE: A Medical UI - Delex - Nov 16, 2016 +Support! I rather suggest to set up a system based on simple choices. For example the 4 option method of America's Army. Having many choices will give newer players who are not experienced in the medical field a whole lot of unknown options to choose. When you are lying back on the ground and the player is taking like 30 minutes to find the correct option can be frustrated. My suggestion is to keep it simple and class it to certain categories with their options: Traffic Accident: - Fractures -> Spalk - External bleeding -> Bandage - Internal Bleeding -> (Hospital visit, yet do most people not participate in a HospitalRP) and so on.... I am willing to participate in setting up a simple medical triagesystem which is used world wide by every medical service. Here we use ABCDE method and is quiet easy (for professional services) so this has to be formed to really simple options and choices. We have something planned for medic tutorial. Concepts and pre-dev systems are on my local branch since August. This is definately coming ![]() A re-design of medic sys will be available too. Moving this suggestion to "Approved". I don't want to assign a priority yet. |
