TSA hassles 9-year-old kid with pacemaker - Kung Fury - Aug 25, 2016

This kid has always been able to get through airports without a problem even though he has a pacemaker, but at one airport they figured that this kid with multiple heart defects could somehow be a risk to national security so they denied him. They brought out a bunch of DHS and police officers visibly armed just to deal with a 9 year old kid. This is fucking ridiculous. The TSA is a terrible agency.

Airport security are always knobs

I smiled at one once and said "alright mate" and I thought they'd arrest me lmao but I suppose they probably stop attacks to an extent

I tested positive for explosive residue 3 times in a row after being picked out at random and had to be searched, but they seemed pretty chill about it.

You could say "who would suspect a disabled kid?" but then that makes them the perfect asset to anyone attempting to carry out a terror attack, especially if the kid doesn't even know exactly what's going on and the button he's been told to press is about to blow up the aeroplane he's sitting on. People are sick like that and it's the cold, hard truth.

Oh and just to clarify I wasn't handling any explosives and the test flagged the attendant once so the machine was probably buggered.

My backpack tested positive for nitroglycerin once, luckily I was in backwater Maine instead of a larger airport, where I probably would've been detained indefinitely.

"As far as I'm concerned, all of this airport security, all the searches, the screenings, the cameras, the questions, it's just one more way of reducing your liberty and reminding you that they can fuck with you anytime they want, as long as you put up with it. As long as you put up with it. Which means, of course, anytime they want!"
