[No-priority] Nerf the RV - Venom - Jul 8, 2016
Suggestion for <in-game/forum/teamspeak etc.> Ingame
In detail, explain your suggestion: Nerf the durability of the RV. Currently for example, an RV can just hit the breaks and any vehicle following it will explode. Then they just continue on. Many people abuse this feature and use it to their advantage when in reality, this wouldn't happen.
How should the developers add this? (BE DETAILED WITH EVERYTHING!) Do dev stuff.
Why should this be implemented? RV is OP currently. Either nerf it like this or add some type of restriction on it so a typical minge can't get their hands on it.

-Support, RV is a heavy car that should have better strength. Compared to a car which is much smaller then the RV, the RV most likely weights more.

If you were to travel at 60MPH into the back of it, it takes 0% damage. Its not realistic on how it gets damaged. Also remember its an old car thus it should not be that strong (anymore).

- Support. If people are minging with the RV. The staff should BL them from Vehicles. There shouldn't be a need to nerf a vehicle because of what players do with it.

Ya'll are looking at this the wrong way. Instead of making it lighter, or anything like that, Devs should just add a hitbox to the back of the RV that can take damage just like the front . Most vehicles already take damage when you hit them from behind, but the RV doesn't. If an RV driver wants to slam the brakes like an asshole, he can take damage from that vehicle that just died hitting him.

Versus the police vehicle with the reinforced chassis, which crumples like a tin can upon impact? The RV is big, but it's old, it CANNOT accelerate as fast as it does, and there's no WAY it can brake as immediately as it does. As soon as it hits something head on in a collision there's a good chance the engine would shut down, and in a rear end collision at the speeds we are talking about would also render the RV undriveable.
+support, for a bigtime nerf on that abomination of a vehicle. It's only used to flee police and destroy pursuing cars.

the RV is OP as fuck compared to any other cars. It's a fucking RV from the 1980s, not an armoured personnel carrier - it's not as strong as you think it to be.
'No! -support' is literally not a reason to -support it either.
I gaurentee a lot of the people -supporting are the type of people who, in a pursuit, use this 'crash into an RV at 60MPH and die' feature to their advantage.

Brake-checking someone should come at a cost to the RV drivers rather than them being able to get off scot-free. Even the SWAT van would take damage for the driver at least for getting a car to the rear IIRC.

This is a video game, not real life. Items must be built with balance or an easily obtainable counter. The counter for an RV is either it hits spikestrips 3 times, or a bullet to the driver. These are both ineffective and game breaking.
