Pulling out guns. - Project - Feb 10, 2016

Suggestion for In-Game.

In detail, explain your suggestion: When someone pulls up a weapon there should be a delay of 2-3 seconds (maybe a bar loading.), as this happens there should be a /me starts to pull out a "x" in a small area around the player. This should happen everytime someone pulls a gun bigger than SMG, and maybe pistols have a 75% chance of showing?

Why should this be implemented? It would greatly prevent people from pulling guns out of nowhere but at the same time it would not destroy AggresiveRP. It would also be more realistic.

A nice idea and everything but I think people would Meta and maybe see in the chat that someone equiped a gun behind them. It would be a +Support if it got replaced with a animation insted of a /me.

To counter that point, anything bigger than a pistol should be heard when pulled out thus being able to hear it behind you or close to you. (Atleast what should happen in real-life)

Would stop people suddenly pulling out a shotgun from their butt. Try taking out a shotgun from where ever you would store it on your body and have it fire-ready in 1 second.

Suggestion for <in-game/forum/teamspeak etc.> In-game

In detail, explain your suggestion: A delay from when you click "use" or drawing a weapon around three seconds to stop your average Joe walking behind a police officer and within a split second have a gun aimed at your average cop.

How should the developers add this? (BE DETAILED WITH EVERYTHING!) They should code it.  Add some sort of delay from when the item is pressed "use" and when someone draws their weapon.

Why should this be implemented? To stop ass pullers, To stop your average joe walking behind someone and within a split second have a Scar-20 aimed at his head. Perhaps even different delays on different guns? E.g 2s for Pistol, 4s for Rifle etc.
