Tear Gas - Taylor - May 22, 2016

Suggestion for <in-game>

In detail, explain your suggestion: A Tear Gas grenade, much like the smoke grenade would have the exact same physics, however ending in proximity of it would deal damage over time

Why should this be implemented? Adds an extra tool for police to use during a raid when they are pinned down/the suspect is in a hard to reach place

+Support, but instead please just make it blurred vision and have it drain stamina. Cops shouldn't really have a lethal thrown weapon (no damage).

Not really as tear gas causes irritation to the nose, mouth and lungs making it impossible to breathe

Maybe it should only be used by SWAT, and requires 1 Gov REP, just so it isn't used too much.

Irl police have a LOT more equipment at their disposal than on LL

Its semi serious, not supposed to be like real life. Criminals have very few tools at their disposal but IRL they have countless. If you go by this judgement should we also add grenades? Bomb? RPGS? Light machine guns?
I stand by my opinion.

In modern American cities do you have bombs going off? People running around with RPG's? Very rarely, yet police are constantly using tear gas

Because every Criminal owns a RPG in Real Life or Police does.
Bombs ? Cmon this is not counter Strike, or explodes a Bomb  in your City every day ?
Light Machine guns, uh.. yeah .. Criminals use them and Police also, so whats the Problem ?

RE: Tear Gas - Nebula - May 23, 2016

So cartel's, mobs & military organisations plant Bombs every day in your City?
Strange life what you live.

RE: Tear Gas - Welker - May 23, 2016

Well, they use it more often then the military is planting bombs.

RE: Tear Gas - MrMarsh - May 23, 2016

should really be bound to swat or to a rep point but over all it could probably add some "atmosphere" and come in handy with riots. Even though chanches are that interesting demonstrations and gatherings could be ended a bit too fast. If its just one grenade with limit radius though it should be ok. The question is if our smoke grenades are not doing it for know. Of course they dont deal damage (tear gas wouldm definatly be a slightly more agressive variant) but even smoke does quite an effect on disolving riots etc
