RE: George Floyd - goigle - Jun 4, 2020 not only that, he called 911 because he was off his medication and needed help and the cops laughed at him when he passed out under their weight. obviously there are still racist cops, but police brutality happens to everyone. I always think back to that video where the cops kept giving that guy commands in the hotel hallway and then blasted him away because he was crawling backward and his basketball shorts kept falling down and he tried to pick them up. cop had "you're fucked" written on the dust cover of his rifle but evaded charges RE: George Floyd - goigle - Jun 4, 2020 (Jun 4, 2020, 04:35 PM)Andromeda Wrote: I actually don't care about the dust cover thing, but that's me. Words are meaningless to me. To be honest, If I was American and had guns. I'd probably have something equally "awful" written on my gun. Shit, that would have the second amendment written on the mag, a bald eagle on the side, and it would be wrapped in an American Flag. I ain't even religious but, heck I'd have the quote from Pulp Fiction on there as well. But with all that said; I don't care what's written on personal guns, but a department rifle is another thing. It's unprofessional at best (Jun 4, 2020, 04:12 PM)Andromeda Wrote: No one has really been saying its an economic issue, which it is. RE: George Floyd - goigle - Jun 5, 2020 If they were on the job under a week I feel like that's more on the PD for having such a shitty trainer Quote:Lane was also new to the job, only on the force for four days when the incident occurred, his attorney Earl Gray claimed. His lawyer said that Lane twice asked Chauvin, a training officer, “Shall we roll him over?” He also expressed concern that Floyd may be in “delirium.” RE: George Floyd - Zombie - Jun 5, 2020 (Jun 3, 2020, 09:04 PM)Faustin Wrote: Maybe because the former is in a democratic country where it's legal to protest? Or just maybe it took a nationwide civil unrest, protests, riots, looting, the involvement of the national guard in the most richest, most powerful developed country in the world for him and the other police officers get fired and charged? Like others mention, it's not the murder of Floyd that caused the civil unrest, the murder only sparked it. This was coming, the black community were tired of it for decades and time to time they protested, rioted, looted and made noise and it brought no significant changes. Now? The murder sparked something so bad that made Trump threaten martial law, with protests and riots all across the 50 states and countries from all over the world, this is huge. A large portion of the population were clearly tired, angry, getting hostile, felt discriminated, they had enough. It was such an obvious sign of a growing civil unrest and no one took them serious, and ignored them or showed sympathy then forgot about everything a week later, they were tired of not seeing changes. So it took a camera to spark a civil unrest that wanted to see not just Derek facing charges, but also Alexander, Thomas, and Tou. And guess what? all 4 police officers are now facing charges, not just Derek. After this, there's no way there will be any police officer getting acquitted or slapped on the wrist again without burning the fucking country. RE: George Floyd - brave soldier - Jun 5, 2020 its really missed up.... and trump said he gona get the us army to stop all of this and alot of countries will see america weak AF now and they will try to fuck with it and it wont end up good RE: George Floyd - brave soldier - Jun 5, 2020 (Jun 3, 2020, 09:04 PM)Faustin Wrote: You are right. alot of arabs is getting exhausted in : palestine , sirya , iraq , lebnon , egypt , sodan ,libya and alot more. but have u seen anyone talking about it? like bro i swear i live in palestine and every single day i hear about person getting killed by zionist soldier but nobody talks about it from week a person wtih dawn syndrome has been killed by stupid soldier its not the first time and nobody talked about it... Every time a cop kills someone or even fires a gun and misses, they are placed on administrative leave pending an investigation. Sure, the protests sped up the time table, but it was going to happen anyway. The legal process does not work at lightning speed. Everything has to be 100% accounted for or else a smart lawyer can rip it apart in court.
