RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - Taylor - Jan 8, 2019 I mean, from a realism perspective none of the evocity maps make much sense, they all have 20+ storey sky scrapers in an area comparable to a small village. It doesn't make sense for such tall structures in a city of maybe 10-15 buildings. Maps like Truenorth and Rockford, however have a low density, rural feel. Something that I feel is more realistic given the (relatively) small size of gmod maps. Absolutely not, I hope that the option to "stay" in rockford is not there. I can build new forest dupes. RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - Blazing - Jan 8, 2019 (Jan 8, 2019, 11:29 AM)Midget. Although ofc certain things will effect your GPU but even a gtx 660 would get you enough frames. What you're saying is technically true, but I feel like you're being extremely nitpicky here; someone who has a high end GPU such as a GTX 1070 or better is extremely likely to have a top end CPU. RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - Quest - Jan 8, 2019 @Markus Isn't that a bit of a bottle-neck? RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - Markus - Jan 8, 2019 (Jan 8, 2019, 06:16 PM)Quest Wrote: @Markus Indeed it is. Used to have a 780 until it died when I tried to transfer Gmod models to VRChat. Gonna buy an i7-8700k or Ryzen 7 2700X along with a new motherboard and 16GB RAM in the near future. With a low spec computer I can get at least 60fps on that map. If you struggle to get over 20 fps on the map then your computer is failing you hard and probs time to upgrade some parts or buy a new pc a whole. Sorry but I would rather have a new fun map then the same typical EvoCity over and over. RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - StephanGH - Jan 9, 2019 Tfw TN has better FPS than evo for me. RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - Noble - Jan 9, 2019 Weird, FPS is around double what I was getting on True North. I'll have to try out the server a few more times to see if that's consistent or not RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - Nudel - Jan 9, 2019 (Jan 9, 2019, 04:22 PM)Noble Wrote: Weird, FPS is around double what I was getting on True North. RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - Cole - Jan 17, 2019 Truenorth update Update: 17 Jan @ 7:08am Bugfixes and Improvements update -Fixed all reported bugs -Turned all fake shops into real ones -Made some kitchen props removable -Enhanced soundscapes so all interiors are quiet -Fixed window frames being solid throughout -Added more rooms to Town Hall -Added night lights (targetname = 1 just like Rockford) -Raised water level of river -Added Canada Post mail box replacements for Canada version -Added RCMP signs to Police station for Canada version -Improved framerate in main town -Improved tree sway RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - BlackDog - Jan 17, 2019 No matter how many bug fixes it has, it still doesnt change its key problem: Its to big, and people are far to spaced out to actualy be able to interact and RP with eachother unless its pre-grouped people. The fact that the map is big is a great thing. as an example right now taxi driver RP is useless with true north, public transportaion and taxi RPs are amazing and actually usefull. It stimulates people locking themselves away, not interacting. |
