RE: Map Vote! - Chosen - Dec 21, 2018

Where can i vote?

I think that when someone wants to RP no one is giving him any attention at all that's why i hate large maps like rockford and v5p.
v2d is old but at least its small so the community can interact with each other a lot and that's what i like about CITY RP.

That's my opinion after all.

RE: Map Vote! - Markus - Dec 21, 2018

I'd like to take back my vote for v5p and vote for TrueNorth instead.

RE: Map Vote! - Slowkiller965 - Dec 21, 2018

yes TrueNorth looks g00d

RE: Map Vote! - StephanGH - Dec 21, 2018

TrueNorth would be cool

RE: Map Vote! - RageSquid - Dec 21, 2018

*FarmRP intesifies*

RE: Map Vote! - Kvatch - Dec 21, 2018

Might vote for TrueNorth if it looks good when it comes out.

RE: Map Vote! - BlackDog - Dec 21, 2018

I would assume the vote will be held in the new year to give enough time for maps to be suggested, or in the case of TrueNorth, which came outanowhere, to actualy be released and reviewed to due its potential.

RE: Map Vote! - Raptor - Dec 21, 2018

I wanna wait and see what truenorth comes out

RE: Map Vote! - Jeff Ford - Dec 21, 2018

My position remains on EvoCity V5P until TrueNorth is released/is added to the Post.

Puts some of the concerns at ease, but time will tell if the map is worth using.

I await its release to examine it in full.

RE: Map Vote! - Welker - Dec 22, 2018

I feel like v17x takes everything great that v4b1 and replaced it with awful v2d buildings. No apartments, no nice mainstreet shops, MTL has been replaced with old v2d mtl and DTM has been replaced with the trashy office blocks from v2d.

As for true north, it looks very much like Rockford and has the same glaring problems. No space to build, many of the buildings seem very linear and uninviting to builders and of course, fake buildings.
There seems to be a tonne of filler content like Rockford ie; long empty and unnecessary roads & fake buildings.

I'm not even going to give any input on v2d because I don't even know why it's an option in 2018, almost 2019.

It's probably going to be v5p for me though my only concern would be the map is too large for our community, I don't doubt that it is a large map though I think the main city is extremely functional for passive roleplayers, there really is alot of areas for all types of RP in the main city alone. It's a pretty decent map in my eyes

If there are long empty roads, then how is there no space to build?

Take a look at @MrMarsh‍ 's amazing diner at the Beach in Rockford.

Long, empty narrow and ugly roads with no space to build compared to long empty and barely functional roads with tiny spaces to build.
We are after all CityRP not tiny quiet Canadian town RP, this was the downfall of Rockford. Trying to substitute a city with a terrible quiet rural town map.

It's going to be held through the in-game community input panel.
