Re: LimeLightGaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open Series - Zecon - Sep 21, 2015 ![]() IMPORTANT UPDATE The way it will be done now is in each group, there will be two initial group stage matches in which two teams go head to head in a BO1. This will happen twice. The two winners of the group will then go head to head in another BO1 and the winner of that match will be immediately put forward into the quarter finals. This will happen for every group which will fill up 4 of the available 8 spaces for the quarter finals. Then, the remaining 3 teams in the group will play. Let's call the remaining teams "TEAM 1, TEAM 2 & TEAM 3". Team 1 will then play team 2 in another BO1. If team 1 win, team 2 will be out of the tournament and team 1 will play team 3 in another BO1. Whoever wins this final match will get the last place for the group in the quarter-finals. This will also happen for every group which will fill up all 8 of the 8 available spaces in the quarter finals. The format is then pretty simple from there, we have 4 quarter final matches, the winners of these head to the semi-finals and then the winners of those head to the finals. So: GROUP STAGE 1 - BO1 GROUP STAGE 2 - BO1 QUARTER FINALS - BO3 SEMI FINALS - BO3 FINALS - BO3 If you do not understand my explanation of the format, just look up the recent ESL One Cologne format in-game or at this link: https://www.esl-one.com/csgo/cologne-2015/standings/ Re: LimeLightGaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open Series - franku - Sep 21, 2015 Not surprising at all, looks excellently organised, it's going to attract attention ![]() Re: LimeLightGaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open Series - Colliins98 - Sep 21, 2015 (Sep 21, 2015, 06:56 PM)Wood link Wrote: Posting for GhostKiller:And exactly how many hours do these guys have on the LimeLight servers?? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: LimeLightGaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open Series - Wood - Sep 21, 2015 We've also changed it so now anyone can apply - even if they're not part of LL. Do note by the way, we do expect all players when the series start to act very professional when ingame and not chant insults or mess around. We'll also be chucking in some CS:GO skins to the prize pool and that'll be announced soon! We'll also be streaming the entire event with casters and an analyst desk! Confirmed date? Re: LimeLightGaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open Series - MikeH_ - Sep 21, 2015 What's the point in allowing teams who don't play LL into the tournament? Doesn't it defeat the point of winning? Where is the $100k going to go.... I think it's stupid really. -Support LL Members only please |
