I do have one question, would the ban affect people they have undergone all the treatment and the gender reassignmen operation?
Like say if someone had finished all the medical shit in say 2015 would they be allowed to enlist in 2017?

As the person will never become the other sex biologically, they will always have to take replacement hormones(estrogen/antiandrogens, testosterone/androgens) there's the issue that they will always rely on these medications, war zones notwithstanding, in addition to the associated health hazards of taking these medications(stroke, blood clot, heart attack).
