The reason the US server is so dead is the map is terrible. Most US players hate it.
Switch it to a better map (Union City, Rockford, hell, even evocity v2d), and numbers will go up.
The US playerbase won't grow well without a US server. Before the original US server got screwed up, there was a small but steadily growing US playerbase who all left when the server became neglected.

Sure, keep telling yourself that lmao. Face it, a US server is BS and will barely hold. The EU server itself is struggling, so let's put the money into getting at least one decent server to play on instead of two shite servers with zero on one and a handful on the other. Even Teamspeak was more active than the US server.

Stomm is right though. When the EU servers were losing population due to time of day, the US server had a steady 20-40 players. This was also fluffed by EU players as it allowed a longer period of time to play with an actual population of more than 10 players. This was before the Rockford creator fucked something up on the Workshop end. It worked but due to what I can only contribute to poor marketing strategies, it never made the comeback it deserved.
