I feel a system should be implemented to despawn your vehicle or something along the lines of 2 vehicles out at once to make this situation easier RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - Noble - Jan 3, 2019 (Jan 3, 2019, 02:14 PM)Slowkiller965 Wrote: I've tested the map quite a lot now. I really don't know where those people get their FPS problems from? I get excellent FPS as I will show you in the following video: That area exiting the city to industrial stutters for me as well as well as the crossroads to the left of town hall. These are most likely areas that load/unload portions of the map. RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - Markus - Jan 3, 2019 If you have any issues, please post a suggestion here:

Driving around and standing in a cabin admiring low resolution gmod textures isn't what Limelight is about. Driving is a fun and important part of the server, but it isn't the #1 priority and the key thing that should be concentrated on is ideally RP, it really should be what's on everyone mind and unfortunately in my opinion True North just isn't an RP map. In a perfect world we'd have v4b1, it is really a shame that it's not an option taking into account that performance seems to be on par between v4b1 & True North, yet TN is still under consideration. It really is suprising that so many people have complained about performance in the case of v4b1, map size in the case of v5p yet those concerns seem to have been thrown out the window when it comes to True North. ie; map being much larger than any "RP" map that I am aware of and having terrible performance for most people it seems. Many are emphasizing the relaxing nature of True North, while that's all good and nice. RP really is about interaction and this map is anti-interaction much like Rockford. The map creator has obviously tried to do things differently to other maps but True North has all the glaring issues and failures of Rockford. RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - Vimpto - Jan 4, 2019 If you like driving around on your own with no interaction maybe Single Player fits you better than CityRP RE: [Feedback] Truenorth - Markus - Jan 4, 2019 (Jan 4, 2019, 02:20 PM)Vimpto Wrote: If you like driving around on your own with no interaction maybe Single Player fits you better than CityRP Just because I enjoy serenity, it doesn't mean I don't enjoy sociality. |
