Choose whether to carry your pistol visible or hidden. Think about it; for some it might be a deterrent, IE armed security patrols or other to actually see the gun on their belt, whereas for others IE criminals don't want it to be seen.

Also,m I get that the whole 30 seconds thing is to prevent abuse, but 30 seconds is a bit much.

Yes, definetly optional to carry or to hide.

30 seconds was just the basic idea. The devs and admins will be able to set the right amount.

Thanks though! Smile

Maybe make pistols hidden and bigger firearms visible. This way people can still be unnoticably armed, but think twice before walking around with an AR15.

As of right now CriminalRP is skyrocketing over any type of Passive RP. If this was implemented not only would it cause for more strategic thinking in criminals, but it may also slow down Aggro RP leaving room for non-violent situations.

+Support on the system if it can be implemented easily.

Found a script for a starting point possibly:

Pistols should be able to be hidden though

This is something I've wanted for a long time now.

What'd be great was if bigger weapons were visible while smaller ones were easier to conceal.

It's silly that someone can drag out an assault rifle out of their pockets when he looks completely unarmed.
This would be different if someone had a pistol or a compact SMG that could be "hidden under the jacket".

This would hopefully make people think twice before they decide to casually walk around with an assault rifle in the pockets.
This would also promote realistic weapon use as we'd see an increase in people using pistols and SMGs instead of big assault rifles and sniper-rifle(s).

RE: Visual Equipment - Toxic - Jan 28, 2016

Thing is you can bring down assault rifles and shotguns in length so that they can be concealed in a similar fashion (SBR, SBS). As I've previously stated, though, is that role playing as a police officer can go beyond frustrating when people whip out such weaponry and gun down police officers during a routine traffic stop, or any everyday encounter really.

Yes there will always be exceptions, but no need to nitpick over can do's or not: at the end of the day, we're semi serious - and sometimes a general concept needs to be implemented, like this one.
