There has never really been a push to do Passive RP. We’ve been having the same problem since we started. Not really. The only decent buildings are too far out of the way of the main population or are just pure trash. Gas stations for example. You can furnish it yourself. It is already prefabricated with shitty floating toilet roll on each shelf. It's just not good. Of course the map has many good points, but for a cityRP gamemode, its just not really suitable imo. For DarkRP it would probably be perfect. It has various warehouses and hideouts all over the place. RE: Vote v5p with "Community Input Panel"? - Nev - Oct 19, 2017 Also refrain from using Bambo's screenshots for reference imagery. He's running low-quality settings with an improper night-mod that looks like a modified skybox using the skybox editor tool. Not to mention most of the photos are taken from an admin perspective looking down at a building as compared to what actual matters - how you experience the space and environment at ground-level and when driving. Here's some actual imagery in the lighting conditions with Atmos and default map settings. Lighting on Rockford is shite RE: Vote v5p with "Community Input Panel"? - Scrotonium - Oct 19, 2017 (Oct 19, 2017, 06:02 PM)Nevy Wrote: Also refrain from using Bambo's screenshots for reference imagery. The nostalgia. Mhmmm RE: Vote v5p with "Community Input Panel"? - monk - Oct 19, 2017 Clearly all of this new map talk is just a distraction to keep us from questioning what really matters. Like where our 416 and zip ties are. RE: Vote v5p with "Community Input Panel"? - richie - Oct 19, 2017 can we just gets V5p fgs RE: Vote v5p with "Community Input Panel"? - Soviethooves - Oct 19, 2017 (Oct 19, 2017, 06:32 PM)monk Wrote: Clearly all of this new map talk is just a distraction to keep us from questioning what really matters. We can gather data about number of players, how long they played etc. This allows the choice to be based on DATA and not sentiment. If a map change is to be considered, then it has to be routed in fact. (A few weeks of cycling will give us enough data) If that can be agreed upon, then more serious discussions can be had. Even so, I dislike rockford and agree with the post previously made by Nevy. Especially for building, it's awful. A huge positive about V5p is the potential for new jobs it offers, and the fact each area is usable. If someone can get data on optimisation, that is a huge case for a map change on it's own. OPTIMISATION DATA NOW PLS RE: Vote v5p with "Community Input Panel"? - Vimpto - Oct 19, 2017 40 - 14 Keep voting v5p boi RE: Vote v5p with "Community Input Panel"? - Murdoch Murdoch - Oct 19, 2017 ![]() Thanks to this thread RE: Vote v5p with "Community Input Panel"? - Murdoch Murdoch - Oct 19, 2017 Dont like my post IT GIVES ME MORE NOTIFICATIONS FUCK RE: Vote v5p with "Community Input Panel"? - richie - Oct 19, 2017 you're complaining murdoch... RE: Vote v5p with "Community Input Panel"? - Raptor - Oct 20, 2017 I've went on V5P and looked around for a good 30 mins and it honestly seems like V2P but slightly modified. I like it, its okay but I'm not too sure if its what suits limelight. And I'm not saying that Rockford does, I personally think that Rockford doesn't suit LL at all but I was also one of the people who voted for Rockford myself so I can't really complain about it. If we're thinking of doing a map change one last time or if we're going to consider it, I'd suggest we become more open for other options as well and not limit ourselves to two. I'm suggesting or wanting to hear about what people wanna say about this map. rp_chaos_city_v33x_03 Pros - Its an Evocity Map. - The map loops around itself. - Map doesn't have a crazy Bloom effect. - Map is large enough for our current player-base and hopefully future one. - Map is beautifully designed and well created. - Map has three different areas that are different bio systems? Deasertish, Lake and City. - Map has really good buildings (Same as Evocity v33x etc) with some few extra new ones. Cons - Biom textures don't connect realisticly. - One road next to BK that literally just leads to a wall. - Not a lot, not little building places outside the city. (I.e flat areas for building) Images ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Vote v5p with "Community Input Panel"? - Klinex - Oct 20, 2017 I've always suggested chaosity but people dont seem to like the desert part, how difficult would it be for us to edit the sand texture to grass? |
