Lol, that one is fake as hell. He doesnt even press the number in the bottom right corner. RE: President Elect Donald J. Trump - Safira - Nov 10, 2016 To be fair, I watched his latest speech and he seemed almost statesman-like. Interesting though that he's suddenly very reconciliatory, going from 'First thing I will do is throw crooked Hillary in jail' to 'we owe a great debt of gratitude to all the work Senator Clinton has done for her campaign'. I don't like how unpredictable he is. In my books, unpredictable is dangerous. Pulling out the Unity card like every other political speech, only now it's coming from his mouth; curious since his campaign was mostly 'I will do this, I will do that', 'They are the evil-doers', dividing the nation by race. But now y'all gotta unite. Shitty situation, yes. But hey, at least weed's been legalised in Cali, right? Always a silver lining! ![]() RE: President Elect Donald J. The Supreme Court ruled it legal. The Supreme Court is the highest authority there is. You cannot reverse it; unless the Supreme Court does it themselves. Second, the President, by Constitution, cannot create laws without congressional approval, (Or a executive order, which can be reversed by the SC.) which yes, you are right, we have a republican senate and house, but not EVERY republican agrees with Trumps ideals, so there is bound to be some of his bills blocked. I do agree about the sexist remarks however. It was extremely uncalled for. Now for the lies, all politicians lie. Clinton wouldn't have been any better. She lied directly to her supporters and the F.B.I (indirectly, of course so she can't be charged with anything.) She also lied about her illegally handling classified information. Now honestly, who would you rather have? Someone who carelessly handles our top secret information that could probably cause many world wide problems or someone who said a few remarks? inb4 "i dont want that trigger happy man having our nuclear codes" if you honestly think that he can use the nukes at his will, you are stupid. The U.N. would never approve of a nuclear strike. Actually, it's illegal to use nuclear weapons unless in self-defense under the UN Charter. RE: President Elect Donald J. Trump - Dig - Nov 10, 2016 THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE OUTRAGE, THIS IS ABSURD, I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE DONALD J. TRUMP AS OUR PRESIDENT ELE- oh weeds getting legal in cali? hes cool. Honestly I'm sick of hearing people with blind faith for their candidates based purely on things they said during the campaign, believe it when you see it people. RE: President Elect Donald J. The president has his set of codes, along with another known by other high ranking officials such as SecDef. His order can be denied and investigated internally. Exposing an attempted nuclear attack could lead to horrible consequences such as Russia retaliating or other countries with nuclear weapons. RE: President Elect Donald J. Trump - Obay - Nov 13, 2016 All I can say is, Social Media have twisted Trump hugely. I think it's fair to give him a chance rather than being tricked by what the media is and isn't showing you. RE: President Elect Donald J. Trump - George - Nov 13, 2016 ![]() Don't think Donald can really say much about the protesters when he LITERALLY asked for Republicans to revolt after Obama won. RE: President Elect Donald J. Trump - PaulB - Nov 13, 2016 Meh. Looking good for the UK though, Trump likes us at least a little bit for brexit and hopefully will plan a trade deal with May near New Year, if that goes well EU countries should give us a good trade deal to import their goods into the UK then through the US. As well as the nation attacked by us could call for a UN defensive if we are the offensive side; similer to what N.K. wants to do. They fire rockets in Japanese waters and sometimes target S.K. boats, trying to get a ruse out of the U.S. and S.K. government to attack them. Once we do so, they'll call the UN in for a defensive. The only reason Americans should revolt against the government is if either the government takes too much power from it's citizens, or removes our rights to weapons. (Hence why the second amendment was created. It clearly states a maintained militia.) This was mainly stated for the people to revolt against the government in case the government gained too much power. The difference here is that Trump won fair, and Hilary supporters are rioting. Not protesting. Protesting is peaceful, and non-hazardous. Rioting is blocking roads from innocent people, looting, burning American flags, etc etc. And Clinton can't say anything either, she and her supports told Trump to accept the outcome of the election. Now look what they're doing. RE: President Elect Donald J. Besides, Republicans are too busy working to be able to protest/riot, since Republicans make up most of the countries work force. RE: President Elect Donald J. Trump - Vaq - Nov 17, 2016 haven't talked throughout this whole thread but.. i'd definitely rather have Trump than a Saudi-controlled candidate like Clinton or a on the edge commie like Bernie. Remember, Trump has only SAID rude things in the form of WORDS. Clinton has DONE rude things in the form of actions. Let's not forget about sex-crazed Bill either. |
