Why add it if it will be abused so often?

Going on that basis why are guns in the game? They are clearly being abused.

Guns are a big part of the cityrp gamemode, removing them would result in a large quantity of the playerbase dissapearing.

That's not the point, it doesn't matter if something will be abused. Almost all aspects of the gamemode can be abused one way or another. So why would adding an extra feature that could massively increase role play potential be a problem

If the negatives (abuse) outweigh the positives (cool cars) it will most likely not be added.

@Cooli If it is heavily restricted then it is unlikely to be abused. For example as this tool could be abused so easily, just restrict it to say (just an example) to people with over 7 General REPs AND 200+ Hours.

That could work

7 General REPs would restrict it pretty well. But there still would have to be a whole of testing of which props should be able to be welded and not.

It is a very delicate matter indeed.
And also you have to think about how creative some people are and how they could turn the Ravenholm sign into a Hummer bumper or some metal plates into a snowplow.

- Lag
- Abusive
- Requires Admin supervision constantly

Would be wonderful, but there is no way around the negatives.

Lag -> Would use the normal proplimit
Abusive -> Not if in the right hands which is not necessarily staff.
Requires Admin Supervision -> Read above.

Actually, having made lightbars for cars (which were later used by FUMUKU, who then told me about the lightbars causing massive lag), props attached to cars, even if they're small, can create a lot of lag if not put together properly.

Well, we will put up tutorials! Smile
