No, I don't believe that a questionably sourced quote spurred the switch of political platforms in the US. These changes started happening as early as the 1880s with William Jennings Bryan.

I'm not saying the Democratic party is clean of things such as this, but as of now Trump is the only one who is endorsed and supported publicly by the KKK and the two propositions you brought up are major components of his political platform.

This thread however has gone off topic enough. My thoughts go out to the family and friends of the officers involved in this tragic event.

BLM is absolute filth, they literally took the orlando gay pride remembrance and turned it into something about BLM, which is honestly disgusting. They are absolute trash at protesting, for example the highway blockage. What does that even have remotely to do with cop violence?

You hate it when people want to ban guns due to the actions of the few, but look the other way when it comes to political movements you don't agree with.
Sadly it is not a minority. Just go on twitter, their death threats trend on the top 3 every time a black felon is shot, and their leaders do zilch to condemn it, and even though Obama 'condemns' these shootings, BLM still gets cute little invitations to the white house in their mailbox.
Even then, a minority of Muslims participate with ISIS, and they're a terror group. 
That is sort of why I want a temporary ban on all Muslims coming from areas even remotely affected by Sharia Law. To add on, it's also sort of why I want a wall on our southern border, blocking all illegal immigrants from entering.
That is sort of why I consider BLM a terror group. The group hates law and order, and has gone to killing dozens to get its point across. Perhaps black people should voice their opinions in a more peaceful organization if they don't want to be affiliated,  because if they condemned these shooting they sure as fuck wouldn't be apart of it.
Funny you bring up the KKK, their leaders are democrats and the group was founded by democrats, yet blacks still vote democrats. Just an addendum.

From the overall members of the BLM movement, it is still a minority and as mentioned by Noble, the "leaders" have condemned the violence.

Yes, ISIS are a terrorist group but I think you missed my point. Not all BLM believe in using violence and many disagree with how these few people go about protesting/attacking law enforcement. My point was you can't label a group of people terrorists just because a minority from that group commits an act of terror. 

I also really don't see how you can ban Muslims? They don't wear big badges that say "I'm a Muslim". If you really think that banning travel to the United States from countries under Sharia law will work then please rethink it. If a terrorist from a country wanted to enter the United States, they could easily just travel via a proxy country. Also, how can tell if that person is a Muslim anyway?

Now, about illegal immigrants. How will America pay for this wall? Mexico have already refused to foot the bill. How will this wall remove the millions of illegal immigrants already inside the United States?


Not sure what the point about your claim that Democrats founded the KKK has to do with anything is.

No, I never said ISIS weren't a terrorist group.

And I'm saying BLM aren't a terrorist group and that some people use the BLM name to justify their actions when committing acts of terror.

What a peaceful group of like-minded individuals, protesting peaceful for their rights.

Can't dodge the fact that BLM is behind these shootings, and BLM is supporting these shootings. I do not understand how there's diatribe over that.

CNN needs to be taken off the air.

CNN has it's moments where I can just sit and watch their items, but the disrespect and just the general ignorance Don Lemon was having was abnormal. I like how Sheriff Clarke stood ground and kept going in on his own questions making Lemon stutter and lose control over what he wanted to broadcast.
