RE: Staff to community Q & A - ForceGhost - Apr 19, 2018 RE: Staff to community Q & A - BlackDog - Apr 19, 2018 Thats an interesting question id also like answered, we never have been clear on what defines a "Dictator" on LL, because by definition every single "President" LL has every had is a dictator dic·ta·tor ˈdikˌtādər/ noun
The vast majority of all LL presidents are never voted, and hold total authority over the nation, being able to remove people from power at a whim, and change the laws as THEY see fit, not as the nation dictates or demands. They can also supress all dissent with force should they will it and can force their entire police force to change uniforms and titles. So what makes a dictator on LL? Not only this, what makes a Dictator raidable? Just being a dictator? Not all dictatorships are bad: Benevolent dictatorship: A form of government in which an authoritarian leader exercises absolute political power over the state but does so for the benefit of the population as a whole. Is this raidable even though it has the best of intentions? What about Oligarchys? What about an Imperial method of government? What if they are Fanatical Egalitarians? What defines and enables a raid reason on any type of government? Reading again I think this situation is covered by the following but HR input would be good.
