i have had the same problem as you. I tried to solve it for my self. I testet divarent graphic settings and realised when i set the my graphic settings lower to Recommendet Settings its work´s.

Hey Jiggles Ive been very busy during the days but I have some news for you.

Possible solution #1

Whilst checking your crashlog-file it seems your graphics-card-driver is broken.

Your graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
Your driver-version: 10.18.13.5906 (Date of release: Tue Dec 01, 2015)

I did some research regarding that driver-version and found some interesting post on Nvidias and steam forums:

Seems like the driver is causing trouble. Please update your graphics-card-driver to the latest version:

Once installed, restart your computer and verify gmod-cache. Start the game and try again

Remove dxlevel

The line above is well known for crashes in hl2 engine games.
Make sure not to use -dxlevel 81 in your commandline options. Its already set per default.
Try -dxlevel 90

Manually download the map.

132(282.162886):  Oops! Addon (328546329) failed to download because of (0)!

The map is somehow missing or broken. Redownload and install it manually.

Gah, I done all of this and it hasn't worked. I kinda knew about my drivers as I got a BSOD related to outdated drivers, or so I was led to believe. I can run other intensive games such as Battlefield 4 fine with that memory problem, which I have also noticed and I don't really know what's causing it, I think I might just update my ram when I get the money. Regardless, it is still hasn't worked and I done all of what you suggested, I feel like I'm so close yet so far :/ Here is my console when starting up the game if that at all helps:

Why? I have all the addons that are required.

I have solved the problem by browsing a few forums. Turns out that if I put all my graphics settings on high then it will work. Why this is, I have no idea.
