People not using the phys desc seriously is an easy fix - sic an admin on them to change it.

Brn eyes/hair - 5'8" - quiet : one of my first descriptions because I ran out of room. It's pretty terrible.

Also, I don't know if it's possible on the schema that LL runs on, but there's a detailed description plugin (I guess that's what it is) that allows you to add a longer description and an image. Others hit use on the char, or you yourself can type /selfexamine, and the detailed desc shows, along with the ability to see the image. Again, people abusing this can be dealt with by an admin.

It's still pretty low as it is. I was on a couple of days ago and wanted to change my description to something like "A 5'8 female with dark brown hair and light brown eyes. She speaks with a quiet voice." That's 87 characters.  I know it increases the chances of fail descriptions but that's when staff steps in and corrects it. But then to me, having to do Brwnhr/eyes | 5'8 | Quiet is also kind of fail too, when there's so much more possibility.
