Yes, though it's given some what of a bad name to limelight (as people knew they were admins here) it's nothing of any actual relation to their performance as administrating staff on limelight. If they decide to abuse here, though they managed not to in all their time at FL, then there will be fairgrounds to demote them, though quite honestly I see no reason to as of yet. Personally, I think demoting them for something all but non-related to limelight puts us right back to the place we all just left. If nothing else, this is on Soul's head for not having removed their ingame permissions almost 3 days after their official resignation post. I see no reason to dwell on this, and judge someone only on their performance in the future and of what is to come, not of any foolish actions and mis-judgements they made in the past.
Nothing against Safira, or any others involved. I've had mingey thoughts before too. But, cheesy as it may sound, it's our choices that define us. Safira and these other once respectable members of FL carried through with these thoughts. It does reflect on who they are as players. Anyway, once again very nice to see you've apologised and regret your actions. Re: My Apologies - Nacreas - Aug 2, 2015 Our emotions will always get the better of us. Unfortunately they caught you in a bad time which I fully understand. You clearly understand that your actions were not appropriate so your apology is appreciated.
not only reflects on them as a player, but also as a person lol If they honestly believe they can just abuse powers on a community with the amount of hours and effort put on it, its just fucking disrespectful. Racism was also involved according to the bans page, which really should be dealt with. Re: My Apologies - Obay - Aug 2, 2015 As a staff team we can assure you that there now strict standards put in place for our administration and guide line are being written as we speak. LimeLight is a new start for everyone, although this will not be accepted and taken lightly. We must leave the behind us and move on. Re: My Apologies - Dig - Aug 2, 2015 And now time to move on and understand the past regarding FL is behind us and that there is a brighter future in the development of this community. Admins were being racist, minges, and in general, real wankers on a server where only about, what, 5 days ago they did their duties. They thought about it, went through with it and are 'sorry' about. I accept the apology but holy Christ something needs to be done, it's disgusting. Re: My Apologies - Raptor - Aug 2, 2015 Bridges burn, tables turn, you live and learn ![]() Re: My Apologies - James - Aug 2, 2015 As said before, limelight is a new start. There is no current live game server meaning they have no current administrative duties. I still don't see why they should be demoted. Because they have shown how immature and unpredictable they can respond when the emotions get the better of them, it makes you untrustworthy. Re: My Apologies - Sirrus - Aug 2, 2015 Went out with a bang, I suppose. Not the best way to set an example, but new community, clean slate. I don't hold anything against the ones that did it, as I had the urge to as well. Re: My Apologies - franku - Aug 2, 2015 (Aug 2, 2015, 05:58 PM)Sirrus link Wrote: Went out with a bang, I suppose. I think what some ex-admins just did was very childish and immature. How they are supposed to run a serious community is beyond me. Sure, be mad at the Owner - but you're ruining for everyone else that was playing and I find that incredibly selfish and disrespectful. New community owner, seriously consider your next administrators. @Floodify Re: My Apologies - Echo - Aug 2, 2015 Well I'm glad you apologised and see the error of your ways, hopefully this wont tarnish anything.
A large amount of Ex-Ex-FL staff (talking far back) were banned for coming online when drunk, then unbanned the next day. They weren't demoted, they weren't even suspended. This is an example of when their emotions, affected by alcohol albeit, got the better of them. They were still great staff, none the less.
Pretty sure those were banned as a pre-emptive measure instead. And even if it wasnt this is completely besides the point. Safira wasnt drunk, or in any other way unaccountable for her actions, she was fully aware what she did. Safira was a great administrator but her recent actions have shown that she is too unpredictable for an administrator position if it was up to me. |
