Quick forum update!

The forum user menu and the header just got updated.

Now, here's what changed.

The user-menu now shows how many alerts you have with a more distinct fashion, and when there is no alert, the number disappears.

You can also click on these areas directly.

Messages open well, messages and alerts open the popup.

We've also updated the popup. Now you have an option to read all on the bottom right instead of deleting all.

You can still delete all alerts through UserCP, but we thought reading all should be the easily accessed option.

I'd also like to thank @Temar for assisting me with it as well as @"Cole_".

We've also increased the size of the header to allow roleplay screenshots be used on it in the future. To start it off, I've chosen @"Gungranny"'s CSI work which I believe fits the theme. Future screenshots made by you will be used there as well.

Let me know if there is any problems with it, as it's fairly new.

Don't forget to ctrl+f5 to cache clear just in case to get all updates

Not a big fan of the gradient. Would rather see the headers simple than this. Nice try though.

RE: Forum theme update and development survey - Bambo - Dec 9, 2018

Gradient at the top removed, trying it out like that, if it looks better it'll stay!

If you could give constructive feedback regarding what you don't like, I can work towards improving it

it was made by you <3

jk

The boxes are too big and the solid black lines in between the rows annoy me. It looks like a grid, not a section of the forums.

RE: Forum theme update and development survey - Bambo - Dec 18, 2018

Alert popup was majorly overhauled.

Now there is a slide-in menu that shows 10 alerts.

It's much better looking and from the tests and feedback, people said it's easier to use.

For mobile, to improve responsiveness, the menu switches to the left side.

I'll continue to improve it with your feedback!

Calendar was redesigned.

It's now easier to navigate and also days are much more clear.

The calendar that is unused?

RE: Forum theme update and development survey - Bambo - Feb 1, 2019

Yep, hoping making it look better and much more clear would make it more useful

Multi-quote available, press the posts you want to quote by pressing the multi-quote option next to normal quote. This will create something like this at the bottom of the quick reply.

Press quote these posts now, and it'll add those to your post as quotes immediately, you'll see it before posting.
