Don't unsubscribe to the old content packs, just add the new content packs onto the old ones until given confirmation to unsubscribe from the old ones. This has appeared to be the issue for multiple players of the community.

I just unsubbed from the older packs and downloaded the new ones. Only other step was to restart Gmod.

How so? I am using both and it's perfectly fine for me. All I did was subscribe to the new packs, nothing else.

How so? I am using both and it's perfectly fine for me. All I did was subscribe to the new packs, nothing else.
My content wasn't working properly after downloading the new one's with out un-subbing the old ones. I had to re-install the game. It could be another issue too but I do not remember that I downloaded or changed anything else beside the new content.

Hmm, that is very strange, I will take a look into why that might be happening tomorrow and then post some workarounds.

Have you manually deleted the addons from the addons folder in your Garry's Mod folder ?

Fixed. Subscribe to the new content, unsub from old etc etc.
