And you've verified the integrity of the games you're trying to search the props for?
Are others able to spawn the same props your trying to spawn?

It's possible the content isn't mounted serverside then and there might be something happening with the game that's freaking out the moment you try to spawn content that isn't there on the serverside too.

Still crashes me when I open certain addons/mounted games or specific folders in mounted games.

Right now, this is my best guess as to what's happening.

A friend of me had the exact same problem. He reinstalled Garry's Mod. After the reinstall it worked.

1. Verify the integrity of your game files.
How to:
1. Right Click 'Garry's Mod' in your steam library
2. Go to properties
3. Go to local files
4. Left click 'Verify Integrity of Game Files...'
2. If this doesn't help try reinstalling your GMod. (Idea by @"Nudelsalat im Panzer") Also after doing this, re-mount the game.
Before you reinstall, if you have any addons from the internet/not from the WS, be sure to copy them to a folder on your desktop. They will delete and would have to be reinstalled if you don't copy them.
3. Also, instead of mounting your game, try downloading just the content for L4D1&2 from https://kajar9.wixsite.com/cscheater2/downloads. Place the folders in GarrysMod/garrysmod/addons
If this still doesn't work, I can find more options for you.
