Maybe integrate this with the "/it emitter"?
Seems like they share a lot, with exception of one returning a key press and the other returns text.

just add limited wiremod without expression 2 and obviously restricted things like igniter, grabber and forcer
sensors are part of wiremod and tie in with many different things such as triggering a door very easy or triggering a sound to play or a sign to display certain text when they are in the range of the sensor

Or do it like keypads where it holds if there is something in, then a set time after. So if a player walks into it, it could stay activated for say 5 seconds after he/she leaves
