I'm also a turbo fan of hand cannon type weapons.

Sure it counts!
I've always wanted to shoot a crossbow! I did shoot a few normal bows, and I still have my eyes on shooting a compound bow, but I never got the chance for a crossbow. It feels as if I'd be a lot more accurate shooting them if I'd use a crossbow.

I am about to leave for my holiday/vacation and these will be the firearms that I will shoot during my stay in the Czech Republic:

Handguns:
Glock 17 4th generation [9×19mm]. (Yep, I can't get enough of mah babeh).
Walther P1 (model P38) [9×19mm].
Smith & Wesson model 10 [.38 Special].
Beretta 92FS [9×19mm].

Rifles:

Mosin–Nagant M91/30 PU [7.62×54mmR].

Assault Rifles:

CZ-858/Vz. 58 [7.62×39mm].
Lee Enfield L1A1 (model FAL) [.308 Winchester].
SKS [7.62×39mm].
SVT [7.62×54mmR].

Shotguns:

Saiga 12K [12GA.].
Remington 870 [12GA.].

(The videos taken that day will be added to my YouTube channel at a later time).

See you all on the 28th of August!
(If I return alive and well, that is). Big Grin

I've always been fascinated by firearms as well, however I haven't had the most hands on experience. I've shot a breakneck 2 shot shotgun at a range before, and here in the house we have a Remington pump action that I keep by my side late at night, just in case.

Arizona would be a very nice change indeed, to the weird laws here in Cali.

Last summer I went on vacation to Lithuania and went to a firearms range there. Shot for the first time in my life some real firearms.

Asfar as I can remember I've shot:

- Tokarev TT-33
- Sig Sauer P226
- CZ-75 and the instructor's own modified CZ-75 that chambered in .40 S&W
- Scorpion EVO 3 SMG
- And ended with the classic Russian AK-74

They even had a Mosin Nagant and a MP5A4 (I think, it had a solid stock.) but we didn't fire those.

But it will be the greatest day of that year etched into my memory. I hope that I can get eventually around on joining a shooting range here in the Netherlands and digging my way through eventually practicing the sport here. (But it's fucking expensive as hell.)

I have only shot with real bow at age 9, lol.

Congratulations, @Toxic now hates you as well, hehe.

Sports shooting in The Netherlands is very expensive for sure. I am currently looking at requesting a firearms license and along with that, a collectors license. This would allow me to buy firearms and to 'collect' them at my own home. Making going to the firing range a lot easier, as all you'd need is a good bag/case and seperation of your firearm(s)/equipment/munitions within that to go to one. If I eventually push through with the license, I'll probably go for the Glock 17 (3rd or 4th gen.) first.

That whole sentence doesn't sound very Texan to me.

That's what she said

O.T.: Around last week or so, I visited my dad's at Yuma (AZ) and heck he had a new addition that he called it "My Baby" (As for a small pistol) Sadly I didn't shoot it but It was a nice feeling to feel a pistol in my hands again, Laser pointer you ask, Yes it has it even though It was confusing at first, you simply get the hang of it

RE: Firearms/Shooting - Stomm - May 1, 2017

The new Mossberg 590 Shockwave has totally caught my attention. Definitely considering it for home defense, because that things a helluva lot scarier than any pistol.

Nice, Jono. Where did you fire it and how was it to shoot a .50? I bet it was a thrill.
