RE: Staff to community Q & A - Daley - Nov 21, 2017 The matter is very simple. Limelight is a private service, and we have the rights to remove you from them at any point, for any reason. We will not allow harassment of staff members through any means of communication. And we will actively punish players who do so. You can act privileged, and spout your non-sense, but this is a private domain. We make the rules here, you do not. And while we are more then happy to hear the community, and adjust our rules. We will never change our stance on staff harassment, staff threats, or disrespect. RE: Staff to community Q & A - ForceGhost - Nov 24, 2017 Couple of quick expansion questions on NLR: Does D/Cing from the server count as NLR? I'd assume it does but cannot find clarification on it. Does changing job (With a respawn) count as NLR? I've been told by some staff members that it does, and others that it doesn't? The rule states Quote:"If you die, you forget how you died. You cannot go back to the place where you died for 10 minutes or interfere in any other way with the RP So do I remember everything else from my previous life? Keypad Codes, Other events that aren't involved with how I died? (For example, do I still remember who stole my car if I was killed during an totally different situation?) Anywho, why do we see most of the Dev Team inactive or problematic? What is the situation with Vol, Noble, Mathias, PaulB, and The Rock? (Not gonna name the ones I believe are problematic) As at this point, I've seen more activity coming from Contributors more so than some of the names above (Dev Time wise, not IG playing time) RE: Staff to community Q & A - Doctor Internet - Dec 2, 2017 (Dec 2, 2017, 05:25 AM)Gungranny Wrote: I think they'll stop censoring once it's within forum rules and doesn't cause any flame wars. It's a matter for Human Resources, @Enzyme and @Overlewd, or Dev-Lead, @Faustie. RE: Staff to community Q & A - Nudel - Dec 3, 2017 Why are communist/soviet avatars on the discord allowed, but everything related to Fascism/Nazism complettely forbidden? (From what I've seen) Isn't both "extremism" in the "opinion of the rules"? (From what I've seen) They are, but those who have been warned for having extremist avatars were also in breach of another number of rules, which made it more obvious to us. RE: Staff to community Q & A - Nev - Dec 3, 2017 Q: Why do you not value the opinion of the community when it comes to suggestions? After all, the suggestion section is meant to allow community members to voice what they'd like to see changed about the game-mode and not to simply bring up their ideas to see if it's an idea the staff team likes. This is a server being populated by these individuals and without appealing to the majority, what's the reason for them continuing to play here? <https://limelightgaming.net/forums/thread-14901.html> ![]() RE: Staff to community Q & A - Bambo - Dec 3, 2017 Here's what I would suggest for the team to do when there are such concerns, make a discussion thread voicing the concerns and have people discuss it and improve it. There is a community input subforum for that sole reason and that could bring you and the community even closer. There are concerns that could be valid but when a suggestion has +40 supports, the community has the right to discuss how those concerns can be dealt with. I'd say, create a serious input thread, list the concerns and have the community discuss it and find solutions for such concerns. As this is a Q/A thread, do you think this approach would be a waste of time or would it benefit the community bringing staff and players closer?
