Re: LimeLightGaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open Series - Wood - Sep 22, 2015 Servers are being worked on haha. I can't fix it though, sec and OVH have to. Re: LimeLightGaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open Series - Mystery - Sep 22, 2015 You claim to have no control when the servers will be back up, But why pay a company to host a server if there unreliable, Lazy and all round just a fucking let down? I would just say its common sense to have changed by now. Sorry to be a dick about it I understand you guys are working hard, But when everyone has school, work and collage it can get stressful and cityrp is such a good stress reliever. Its been a very boring week and I just want to get back on the server. Re: LimeLightGaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open Series - Wood - Sep 22, 2015 Oh don't worry we're dealing with it with OVH, but their communication is terrible. I'll be making a final call tomorrow, will most likely record it and drop it here so you're all aware of the suituation Re: LimeLightGaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open Series - Labrador - Sep 22, 2015 (Sep 21, 2015, 10:32 PM)Project link Wrote: [quote author=Chocolate Labrador link=topic=1921.msg19215#msg19215 date=1442867267] It's a community vote and the outcome was we don't want just any old random to enter. Re: LimeLightGaming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Open Series - Joey Skylynx - Sep 22, 2015 I just realized the current list of caster, and I am not one of them. Something is wrong in the world. I would like to play on this tournament with my friends which dont play on this server, but i see that everyone is going insane, when we just wanna have fun, they gonna get to meet the people from the server and maybe even play something else with them if they like them. 3. Also instead of talking if you should allow people that are not in the community to play, you should consider if the 2 GE teams sould play with us because it would be pretty obvious they would win. I would just say its common sense to have changed by now. You do realize there's a financial aspect to it as well, right? If you cannot communicate promptly with the provider that you pay, how can you expect to receive a compensation which will allow you to change host without risk? I don't see what the problem is with waiting, if you appreciate stability and a decent experience, surely you can wait for the issue to be resolved no matter how long time it takes. This tournament is something that goes outside of the efforts of what's being done server-wise, for one I don't see the harm in making a community based event outside of GMod whilst the handling is quite literally out of their hands. Keep in mind that this event is handled by two individuals, whereas LimeLight has an entire and bigger team to handle the issues alongside them. It also isn't as if they spend 8 hours a day on this event, so I'm sure what's necessary is being done. After many hours of working around Wood's 'extemely important' rugby schedule at the weekends, we have finally come to a date he is actually willing to skip that isn't too far off. The tournament will start on Friday October 2nd at 18:00 BST (GMT+1) and will (hopefully) finish on Sunday 4th. On that day, we will most likely only make it through the first group stages for groups A + possibly group B, since the first group stages for all groups consists of 12 games anyway (3 per group). You can view the countdown here if you are unsure of when it begins: On Saturday however, we hope to get through all the group stages (1+2), if not only a few remaining games will be played on the following day. Then on the Sunday, we will have the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals, if we can fit them all in. If we cannot for whatever reason do the finals or semi-finals on that date, we will contact each individual team and arrange a later date. We currently (if my quick read counted correctly) have 14 full-team applications. So, we are either in need of two more full team aps or a couple of teams from the solo applicants (if they haven't joined a team with an empty space by now). We wish we could do this over a shorter schedule so it suits everyone, however me and Wood have to individually manage about 31 games for this to work, so please take that into consideration. All groups with their respected teams will be finalised by tomorrow, and we will keep you up to date with any new updates.
