I believe I stated this in my comparison to it with Rockford and v4b1 in the original topic. And it isn’t his internet because he is in SP... But the problem with FPS is the fact of how resource heavy the gamemode has become. As far as I am aware, no matter the map (evocity or rockford), if and when the gamemode gets rewritten/optimized, we should see FPS improvements. The amount of content, scripts and useless code contribute a lot to the already weak base of the game to lag everybody out. I doubt there is any server that has the same amount of content/scripts on any generic roleplay map (evocity/rockford/any other non-custom map) and has optimized the gamemode/map to the point where the "center" of city doesn't go below 10 fps when over 50 people on an average player's build. The only reason we might see an fps improvement on V5P is the fact that the city might be used less than other maps. And why not bring Santos RP up? They have a great playerbase and a great game mode with a lot of obvious work done to the optimization as it has 60+ FPS. It's a good example of what good optimization can do for FPS. So yea, I will focus on it if the question is asked. |
